Located underneath the flagship Frank Laurent coffee roasters storefront, this vibrant, simple, yet sleek gelateria is designed to quickly become the talk of the city in Alor Setar. Upstairs, the slick and silky blacks that make up the essence of Frank Laurent branding seep their way downstairs into this aromatic, open design café. With masculine design elements and industrial vibes throughout every inch of the Frank Laurent Coffee Roasters Café, we’ve created the perfect multifunction event space, complete with a full-service main kitchen in the back. This stunning example of history acts as the main first-floor entrance for the Frank Laurent coffee roasters. In addition, it features a grand, iconic staircase inviting visitors to follow the succulent aromas coming from above.
A metal netting ceiling and counter design seamlessly tie in the symbols on the ceiling, helping to represent the ebb and flow of the Frank Laurent experience. In addition, we curated a vibrant color palette and artistic lightning ambiance to create the perfect experience for couples on a date, families out for a stroll, and even for the coffee connoisseurs to enjoy an affogato. With built-in lighting effects, you can create any kind of environment you want, no matter the event.
We added clean and sleek metal design touches to tie together the Frank Laurent branding and design above to create a seamless journey from when every customer enters until they fall in love with the coffee upstairs at Frank Laurent. We incorporated mild steel touches and a stainless-steel counter with metal framing to further enhance the design’s boldness. At the end of the main counter, we built convenient u-seating functionality to expand the serving area.
At the end of the counter with U-seating function as occasion omakase serving. The Frank Laurent Coffee Roasters Café is designed to be a place for the community, coffee lovers, and more to gather, talk, commiserate, and connect over the things they love. We added an extra touch of class and elegance by leaving all of the building trusses exposed. Then our interior designers strategically and artistically lit them better to showcase the original structure of this historic building. Whether customers want to host an event, listen to music, or find a new place to enjoy their favorite city, this inviting, sophisticatedly designed café is built to accommodate everyone. In addition, the black, bespoke design touches that customers love about the Frank Laurent Coffee Roasters above can be found throughout the downstairs parlor. From the black-colored metal plates and massive trusses to the custom-designed countertop and serving areas, elegance runs throughout this industrial warehouse / retro semblance with plenty of space.
